# One Minus (1-x)
Menu Path : **Operator > Math > Arithmetic > One Minus (1-x)**
The **One Minus** Operator calculates **1** minus the input value. For example, an input of 0.2 outputs 0.8 and an input of (0.3, 0.4, -5) outputs (0.7, 0.6, 6).
This operator accepts a number of input values of various types. For the list of types this Operator can use, see [Available Types](#available-types). This Operator always returns a value of the same type as the input.
